Halloween is TOMORROW; can you believe it? That means November (and Christmas) is that much closer!
Regardless, I figured I had to make some yummy treat for this festive occasion. I've been wanted to try chocolate covered marshmallows for awhile so, without further babble, here is my version :)
What I Used:
- large marshmallow
- Dairy Milk chocolate bars (I used 3 bars to make 40 marshmallows)
- M&Ms (or any other type of candy or sprinkle) for the top
- mini muffin cups (because they are cute)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Lay out your cups and marshmallows
2. Melt your chocolate. DO THIS SLOWLY! I did mine in the microwave in small intervals.
3. Dip your marshmallows. I only did the top half because I wanted them to look like little cupcakes but you could certainly dip the whole thing.
4. Place in cup, add topping, let harden!
I can't wait to try some other designs with these for the holidays!
My favourite part about these is that they would make an excellent, fun and engaging thing to do with the little ones and I think they'd have a blast decorating their own treats.
Enjoy and have a happy and SAFE Halloween!
